Schedules, timers and direct control for every air conditioner in the project (any device that shows up as a thermostat in Navigator).
The driver adds a button with its own screen to Navigator (touch screens, app and Composer). On that screen the client creates schedules and picks which units each one controls.
Each schedule defines:
The fan options are the ones reported by the units themselves. If no unit reports them, the screen offers Auto, Low, Medium and High.
When the selected mode is Fan, no temperature is sent (the unit would otherwise switch back to Cool). Dry only works on units where that mode is enabled.
Schedules are stored in the driver itself and keep working after the controller restarts.
On the Timers tab, + New timer creates a countdown of up to 23h59. When it ends, it applies the same kind of action as a schedule (turn off, or turn on/adjust mode, temperature and fan) to the selected units. Example: turn off the bedroom AC 2 hours after going to bed.
In the Groups tab, + New group creates a group with a name (for example "Group 1" or "Ground floor") and the units that belong to it. The integrator or the homeowner can create, rename, change and delete groups on the screen.
The state shown is the same one shown on the Navigator thermostat card. Units that do not report their state (for example, IR control without feedback) show "State unavailable", but still receive the commands.
If an air conditioner is removed from the project or selected in Exclude To Control, the schedules and timers that used it show an unavailable-unit notice and keep working on the other units.
Each schedule, and each timer, must have a different name. The screen does not allow saving a duplicate name.
| Property | Description |
|---|---|
| Driver License | Driver license. Blank or "Trial" runs the driver in evaluation mode for 5 days. The license is automatically shared with the other identical drivers in the same project. |
| License Status | License state: Trial Mode (with remaining time), Trial Expired, Licensed, Blocked or License running in another project. Without a valid license, schedules and timers do not run and the screen does not allow changes. |
| Cloud Status / Automatic Updates | DriverCentral version only: cloud license status and automatic driver updates. |
| Language | Portuguese / English / Spanish. Language of the screen and of the driver messages. |
| Driver Version | Installed driver version. |
| Message | Last driver status (e.g. schedule executed). |
| Debug Mode | Off / Print. Use Print only for troubleshooting. |
| Scheduler Enabled | Yes / No. When No, no schedule runs. |
| Temperature Scale | Celsius / Fahrenheit, scale of the schedule temperatures. |
| Exclude To Control | Air conditioners (thermostats) this driver must ignore. Selected units do not appear on the screen, cannot be controlled from it and are not triggered by schedules or timers. |
| Delay Between Devices (ms) | Interval between the commands sent to each unit. Increase it if a unit stops responding when several are triggered together. |
| Thermostats Found | Number of air conditioners found in the project (and how many were excluded). |
| Next Event | Next schedule that will run. |
| Action | Description |
|---|---|
| Refresh Thermostat List | Searches the project for air conditioners again. |
| Show Thermostat Variables | Troubleshooting: shows in Message the information the first unit in the list is reporting. |
| Pause All Schedules | Pauses all schedules. |
| Resume All Schedules | Resumes the schedules. |
Commands: run, enable or disable a schedule by name; start or stop a timer by name; pause and resume all; control a group by name (on or off, with optional mode, setpoint and fan — leave setpoint and fan blank and mode on Keep to keep the current values).
Events: Schedule Executed, Schedules Paused, Schedules Resumed, Timer Expired.
Variables: name of the last schedule executed, name of the last timer finished, name of the last group controlled by programming, and whether schedules are paused.
| Symptom | What to check |
|---|---|
| No units in the list | Make sure the air conditioners show up as thermostats in Navigator, that they are not selected in Exclude To Control, and use Refresh Thermostat List. |
| Timer did not run | Check that it was counting, that schedules were not paused and that the controller stayed on until the countdown ended. |
| Schedule did not run | Check that it is enabled, the day is selected, schedules are not paused, Scheduler Enabled is Yes and the controller clock is correct. |
| Ran on only some units | Increase Delay Between Devices (ms) and check that the unit is online in its own driver. |
| Unit without temperature or mode in the list | Check whether that unit's thermostat card shows this information in Navigator. Use Show Thermostat Variables and send the result to support. |
| License warning on screen / nothing runs | Check License Status. Enter the license in Driver License and make sure the controller has internet access. |
| Wrong temperature | Check that Temperature Scale matches the thermostats' scale. |
| Version | Changes |
